Our Easter School Holidays Family Day in Queensland will be held at Ipswich Nature Centre, located in Queens Park Ipswich, with a special behind-the-scenes tour!
Join us while we explore the Ipswich Nature Centre, then enjoy coffee and cake at the nearby cafe. We'll get to experience a special keeper tour of Ipswich Nature Centre wit a knowledgeable guide who will explain everything there is to know about our Native Australian wildlife - as well as sharing some not so well known facts about the individuals housed at the Nature Centre. We will be heading into the park before it is open to the public, giving us the best chance of seeing some of the nocturnal animals still active!
With over 42 species and around 200 animals - dingoes, bilbies, wallabies, water dragons and a whole petting zoo - the Ipswich Nature Centre, located in beautiful Queen's Park is an unmissable experience. A series of paths and well-maintained boardwalks meander through enclosures and nocturnal houses that house Australian native animals as well as a walk-through aviary, reptile house and a baby animal barn.
Beautiful Ipswich Nature Centre is suitable for all ages and abilities, and we’d love to have you join us for a memorable morning out.

Following the Keeper tour of the Ipswich Nature Centre, we'll head over to Queens Park Cafe,10A Merle Finimore Avenue, Queens Park, Ipswich, QLD, to enjoy tea/coffee and cake. It's not far from the Ipswich Nature Centre.
