Celebrating 30 Years of Brainwave Australia at the National Gallery of Victoria
On Saturday, 29 August 2026, Brainwave Australia will mark 30 years of supporting families caring for children with brain injuries, illnesses and neurological conditions with a special anniversary Gala in the Great Hall at the National Gallery of Victoria.
Set beneath the iconic stained-glass ceiling, this Great Gatsby-inspired evening will bring together supporters, partners and friends of Brainwave for a carefully curated night of fine dining, connection and shared purpose.
Across three decades, Brainwave has supported thousands of families navigating the reality that follows diagnosis – coordinating therapy, securing equipment, managing hospital transitions, and adapting to the ongoing complexity of childhood brain conditions. The Gala provides an opportunity to come together as a community, ensuring this practical and personalised support remains available when families need it most.
Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner featuring seasonal local produce, a premium beverage package including Penfolds Champagne and Killara Estate wines, live entertainment, and silent and live auctions featuring sought-after experiences.
As Brainwave enters its fourth decade, the evening will reflect both the history of the organisation and the continued need for timely support that helps children return home safely from hospital, access therapy, and remain connected to a community that understands what families are navigating.
