Brainwave held its gala dinner in Melbourne on Friday 20th August at The Hilton on the Park. Guests joined in the masquerade theme, arriving in elaborate and mysterious masks, creating a fun night of intrigue.

Mr Rocco Perna, Managing Director of Ferrero Australia, was recently presented with a painting from one of our special Brainwave children to thank him for his ongoing sponsorship and support of Brainwave Australia.
Brainwave held their inaugural NSW Family Day at Australia Walkabout Park on Sunday May 2nd. Families who attended were treated to unique experiences from throwing boomerangs to handling a python. Many parents joined Brainwave in a fun night of singing, eating, riding and relaxing at Luna Park in Melbourne on the 12th March. Following their successful weekend away in November Grove Roaders presented Executive Director of Brainwave Josephine Nicholls with a huge cheque for $22,297.00. The Grove Roaders is a grass roots community group from Hawthorn who raised money for Brainwave by cycling and trekking over the Melbourne Cup weekend.
